About the Event

- Available to stream on-demand through New Year's Day! -

For many around the world, Holiday traditions include attending live performances. Whether it be a trip to the symphony for Handel’s Messiah, the ballet for The Nutcracker, or your local opera company to meet Amahl and the Night Visitors, things will inevitably be different this holiday season. That is why American Soprano Jessie Neilson and her dear friend, Pianist Horacio Guendulain, would like to invite you to a private concert in the comfort of your own home. Horacio and Jessie have created a list of holiday favorites near and dear to their hearts that they cannot wait to share with you, featuring brand new arrangements by Horacio himself. Cozy up with your favorite cocktail or a cup of cocoa and sing along if you wish! The best part about the concert hall coming to you is you get to make the rules! Eat, drink, and be merry!

About the Artists:

Jessie and Horacio currently reside in Nashville, TN. Jessie moved to Nashville four years ago from San Francisco where she was a co-manager of Opera on Tap, an organization dedicated to breaking down the barriers around classical music by bringing opera to local bars and restaurants. Jessie also had the honor of singing in the San Francisco Opera Chorus, boarding a plane the day after her final performance to start a new journey in Nashville. Since arriving in Nashville Jessie has been a District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, a soloist with the Nashville Symphony and Nashville Opera, and joined the managing team of Opera on Tap Nashville. That is where Jessie and Horacio met and developed a wonderful friendship. Opera on Tap Nashville is just one of the many places you can find Horacio contributing his exceptional talent. Born in Mexico, Horacio grew up in the small town of Tiger, Georgia. The community had such conviction in Horacio’s playing that they raised the funds to send him to Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music where he studied classical piano. Today Horacio works with the most prestigious ensembles and institutions in town including his Alma Mater Vanderbilt, Belmont University, and Fisk University.
